Tough review, I've been told to try this place by many, so I need to be ultra fair. I was a little confused walking in since this is the first time, I can remember, coming here. I was seated, kind of sloppily. My waitress had at least 7 full tables at lunch. There were 2 to 4 employees doing nothing to help, including the pictured manager. Most of the food was good, however, non-deserving of many high accolades. It was all very good but no different than most seafood restaurants I've been too. I had the Lobster bisque and the 5oz lazy mans lobster . Pricing was fair. My waitress was a true professional, best in my opinion afte 382 reviews. I think she could have used some assistance with the simple things like water refills and helping with the wrap up as people took some of their uneaten meals to go. I think I annoyed my waitress a little at first because the menu confused me and she was very busy.
Food was delicious and Kristen did a fantastic job as our server. She played right along with our joking sense of humor as well. Hopefully we made her night as good as she made ours.
We were told about this restaurant from a local business partner for their fresh seafood. We did not expect the fun atmosphere and friendly service that we received. The hospitality was genuine and the atmosphere was warm and made us want to stay and chat awhile. I ordered the fried seafood combination platter with clams and oysters, with the side of their clam chowder. The clam chowder made me take a step back and truly enjoy the freshness of the clams. The platter was overwhelming and amazing, truly an experience. I will add this establishment to my list of places when I traveling. Give them a try if you’re in the mood for seafood. Let them wow you like they did for us tonight.
Haven’t been here in forever but it still lived up to my expectations. Service was great, food was delicious.
